Hellos and Goodbyes-August

In the first part of August, we said goodbye to a superb group of missionaries (we call them valientes). We are sorry to see them go, but we know they will do well in their next 'transfer' at home.
On the same day, we received a group of 20 enthusiastic new missionaries. We are so happy they will be serving will us and exciting to work with him these next two years.

We have met all of our missionaries!

We have officially met all of our current missionaries! We finished up the 3 week mission tour, visiting the zones of Durazno, Melo, and Treinta y Tres. Now that we have met all the missionaries, we are excited to get to know them better and work with them in Uruguay.

We also had the privelege of having a family home evening in our house with the senior missionaries of the Montevideo temple. President and Sister Armstrong introduced the family and briefly talked, and then we enjoyed delicious treats from the missionaries. It was a great experience to spend time with them.

Finally, missionary couples from the area offices in Buenos Aires came to the temple here, and we had dinner with them. It was a great night filled laughter, and we hope to see them again.
